After completing medical school at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in 1994, Dr Garcia moved to New York to do his residency in pediatrics at the State University of New York. After three years of training, he stayed for one extra year as Chief Resident in Pediatrics. During that year Dr. Garcia was responsible of patient care and resident education at Kings County Medical Center and Downstate University Hospital.

Dr Garcia moved to California in 1999 and has been in private practice since 2003. In July 2011, he and Dr. Caceres founded “Pediatric Associates California” in their new and improved location.

Dr. Garcia works full-time at the office, makes newborn rounds at Madera Community Hospital and is a Staff Member at Children’s Hospital Central California.

In his free time, Dr. Garcia enjoys spends time with his wife (Dr. Caceres) and three daughters, reading, running and playing squash.
